Meet the leadership team

Our leadership team brings together experience from across the business, helping guide GA Pet Food as we continue to grow, invest, and support Partners around the world.

Roger Bracewell

Chairman

Roger’s connection to farming began long before GA Pet Food was created. After attending Millfield School in Somerset, he spent his gap year running the family farm when the farm manager took early retirement.

He went on to study Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College before working as a young land agent in Bolton. In 1984, Roger returned to the family land agency business, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor the following year.

Human Rights and Modern Slavery Statement

GA Pet Food is one of Europe’s leading premium dry pet food manufacturers, providing a complete solution from new product development to manufacturing, packaging, storage, and despatch.

Partnership is at the heart of what we do. Unlike many pet food manufacturers, we do not have a brand of our own. Our purpose is to help our Partners build successful brands of their own. Today, we export to more than 50 countries worldwide and work with pet food brands of all sizes, from independent businesses to some of the most recognised names in the industry.

Modern slavery is a crime and a serious violation of human rights. It can take many forms, but each involves the exploitation of another person for personal or commercial gain. GA Pet Food is committed to improving our practices to help prevent slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chain.

As a family-run business, we want our Partners, colleagues, and suppliers to be confident that people are treated fairly, respectfully, and with regard for their human rights.

GA Pet Food is committed to transparency in its business and to meeting its disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We promote a culture of open communication, participation, and support. Our dedicated and experienced HR Department operates an open-door policy to help and support colleagues across the business.

GA Pet Food ensures that all colleagues are assessed for their right to work, and that wages and benefits comply with relevant government legislation.

We are committed to conducting our business with honesty and integrity. Our approach to whistleblowing is set out in our employee handbook and is designed to support and protect any colleague who wishes to raise a serious concern. Any disclosure made in good faith in relation to modern slavery or human trafficking will be dealt with promptly under our Whistleblowing Policy.

GA Pet Food recognises that it operates within a global supply chain. We expect our suppliers to share our values of trust, integrity, and mutual respect, wherever they are based. Our vendor approval process includes an ethical risk assessment, helping us identify suppliers where the potential risk of labour exploitation may be higher.

If GA Pet Food becomes aware of any breach of our ethical values within our supply chain that cannot be reasonably resolved, we will terminate our relationship with that supplier.

This statement has been approved by the Board of GA Pet Food Partners Group Limited and is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It constitutes the company’s slavery and human trafficking statement for 2026.

The scope of this statement covers GA Pet Food Partners Group Limited and all subsidiary companies, including GA Pet Food Partners Limited and GA Pet Food Partners Milling Limited. GA Pet Food is the trading style of the GA Pet Food Partners group of companies.

2025-2026 Gender Pay Gap Report

At GA Pet Food, we are committed to fairness, equality, and inclusion. We recognise the importance of understanding our gender pay gap and continuing to take steps that support greater balance across the business.

As an employer, we carry out Gender Pay Gap Reporting under the Equality Act 2010 (Gender Pay Gap Information) Regulations 2017. This involves six calculations that show the difference between the average earnings of men and women within our organisation. These calculations do not involve publishing individual employee data.

Our results are published on our own website and on the government website within one calendar year of the snapshot date. For this report, the figures are based on hourly rates of pay as of 5th April 2025 and cover the reporting period from 5th April 2025 to 5th April 2026.
