We work closely with trusted suppliers, personally vetting and auditing every source to ensure quality, consistency and complete traceability from the very beginning. Every ingredient can be traced right back to the day it was collected.
Because how ingredients are raised matters just as much as how they are prepared.
Chilled for
freshness
Once selected, our fresh meats are transported in our own refrigerated vehicles, kept at a consistent 4°C from source to site.
This careful handling helps maintain freshness and reduces the risk of spoilage, ensuring ingredients arrive in the same condition they left the supplier.
Tested for
quality and safety
Every delivery is thoroughly inspected and tested in our on-site laboratories before it is approved for production.
We test for harmful bacteria, including E. coli and Salmonella, ensuring only ingredients that meet our strict standards are used.

Cooked to
perfection
Once approved by our laboratory, the fresh meats are carefully taken to our Meat Kitchen, where our Fresh Ingredients Technicians prepare them with the same care you would expect from slow cooking.
By cooking at a lower temperature for longer, we help protect the quality of the protein, retain the natural goodness of the ingredients, and bring out the flavour before they continue through the Freshtrusion® process.

A key part of Freshtrusion® is how we cook. By gently cooking at a low temperature, we protect the structure of the protein, helping to retain its nutritional integrity and improve digestibility.
In contrast, higher temperature cooking can damage protein, reducing its quality and bioavailability.

Using controlled enzymatic hydrolysis, proteins are broken down into smaller peptides, improving digestibility, enhancing palatability and reducing allergenic potential.
We call them perfect peptides, designed to be just the right size for efficient digestion.
